Cheese Fondue: Recipe

Living in Switzerland for over 8 years, I've become used to enjoying a weekly portion of cheese Fondue whether it's with Truffle or simply white wine. So, last night I decided to prepare it at home- it being Sunday and everything... So I purchased the ingredients and started cooking. It worked pretty well, a bit liquid in the beginning but then when I added more it gradually became more rich-textured. 

Here is what you need if you want to prepare a Fondue at home: 


1/2 pound imported Swiss cheese, shredded
1/2 pound Gruyere cheese, shredded 
2 tablespoons cornstarch
1 cup dry white wine 
1/5 Bread loaf


Put the cheese  in a medium pot on a medium heat, and stir the cheese in the same direction until it fully melts. Then, add the wine. When well combined, add the cornstarch. When well combined, take the pot off the heat and dip your bread into the fondue to enjoy the real Swiss experience. 

Note: Make sure the Fondue isn't too liquid. If it is, add more cheese.
