Breakfast is my personal favorite meal of the day, and whoever disagrees, hasn’t tried a delicious breakfast yet! One of the easiest and most delicious and healthy recipes to start of your day with, is a banana and peanut-butter sandwich. Its full of vitamins and protein, giving you a head start to the day full of energy!


2 thick slices white bread (toast bread/other)

50g butter, at room temperature

120g smooth peanut butter

3/4 cup mashed/cut banana (about 2 small bananas)


  1. Spread half the bread slices with half the butter.
  2. Spread 2 tablespoons of peanut butter over each of the remaining bread slices, leaving a 1cm-wide border around the edges. Top with banana and the buttered bread, butter-side up.
  3. Heat the remaining butter in a large non-stick frying pan over medium heat until foaming. Add 2 of the sandwiches, butter-side up, and cook for 2 minutes or until golden. Turn and cook for 2 minutes or until golden. Transfer to a plate. Repeat with the remaining sandwich and butter.
