Apple Pastries: by Always Hungry Baku

I want to share with you a very simple recipe of a dessert you will definitely love on a cozy autumn evening.

The only few things you will need are:

*puff pastry sheets

*2 apples - peeled and cut into small cubes

*cinnamon - 1 tea spoon *brown sugar - 2 table spoons *butter

*1 egg - whipped

Take the puff pastry sheets out of the freezer for about 15-20 minutes so that they become softer. While they're defrosting, take about 100gr of butter and melt it in a pan. Once it's melted, put your apple cubes in it. After steering it a bit, go ahead with the brown sugar and cinnamon. Mix it all together and steer to the point when the apples become caramelized and mashed. Put them aside and prepare your baking tray for the pastry sheets: splash a very little bit of olive oil & water (yes, water) on it, before putting the sheets on it. Once it's done, take your apple puree and put a bit in the middle of each pastry sheet; then, "close" it in an envelope shape. The envelopes should then be covered with the whipped egg (a pastry brush is the best thing to do it with). Preheat your oven to 200°C and then your envelopes are ready to go in for about 20 minutes.

I'm more than sure you'll enjoy the result, so..Bon Appetite!
